Additional anaesthesia is used when primary anaesthesia has not achieved a full effect. This is common when treating teeth with inflamed canals, acute pulpitis or in highly anxious patients. The dentist administers an extra dose of anaesthetic — intraligamentary, intraseptal or intraosseous.
At iDenta patient comfort is a priority. If anaesthesia is insufficient, additional anaesthesia is given immediately, at no extra charge and without delay.
