Expands the upper jaw on individual rings - precise and effective orthodontics.

The Hirax and Marco-Rosso are fixed orthodontic appliances designed to expand the upper jaw. They are attached to individual bands that fit around the back teeth and gently open the palatal suture — without tooth extractions or surgical procedures.
The method is effective in both children and teenagers (while the palatal suture is still active) and in adult patients as part of comprehensive orthodontic treatment. At iDenta, the appliance is custom-made from impressions — ensuring a precise fit and a predictable outcome.
Hirax and Marco-Rosso differ in their activation mechanism, but both achieve the same goal — widening the dental arch and creating space for proper tooth alignment. The orthodontist will choose the right option during your consultation.
The orthodontist evaluates the bite, takes an X-ray and makes impressions
The appliance is custom-made over 7–10 days
The doctor cements the bands and explains the activation protocol
The patient turns the appliance with a key once a day as prescribed
Visits every 3–4 weeks to monitor expansion progress
Once the goal is reached, the appliance is replaced with a retainer
For precise diagnostics and appliance fabrication our orthodontists use modern digital equipment
