We treat inflammation around the wisdom tooth and alveolitis with anesthesia - we relieve pain quickly.

Pericoronitis is inflammation around a partially erupted tooth (most often a wisdom tooth). Bacteria accumulate under the overhanging gum flap, causing pain, swelling and limited mouth opening. Alveolitis (dry socket) is a post-extraction complication when the blood clot breaks down before healing.
At iDenta treatment is provided on the day of presentation: antiseptic pocket irrigation, operculectomy (for pericoronitis) or iodoform dressing placement (for alveolitis). Antiseptic rinses and antibiotics are prescribed as needed.
