Three-root tooth extraction is a surgical procedure requiring experience due to the complex root anatomy. The three roots can be curved, intertwined or situated close to a nerve or the maxillary sinus.
The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia. Sutures are placed if needed and healing instructions are given. Full recovery takes 7–14 days.
